To Apply a 3D Angle Constraint

  1. Select the 3D Angle Constraint tool (Drawing > Constraints > 3D > 3D Angle).

  2. Select the stationary element.
  3. Select the face or edge of the selected element. Reset if a face or entity is behind another face (or entity) until the desired one is selected.
  4. Select the second or movable element.
  5. Select the face or edge of the selected element.
  6. Enter a data point to accept the constraint. The angle for the constraint is displayed along with New Variable, New Expression options and any available Variables.

  7. (Optional) Select New Variable or New Expression if you wish to create a new variable or expression to use or select any desired variable displayed in the drop-down menu.
  8. Enter a data point to accept the displayed angle or key in a desired angle value to constrain. Constraint is applied to the element.
Note: If a new variable or expression is created and applied, the properties of the newly created variable or expression will be displayed in the Variables Dialog.
